OK, now I am a Civil Air Patrol Member... What do I do next

What's next... You need to complete the following:

(1). eServices Set up and sign in
(2). OPSEC
(3). Intro To CAP Safety
(4). Print your temporary ID Card
(5). Equal Opportunity
(6). Aircraft Ground Handling Training (For cadets interested in orientation flights)
(7a) (Cadets) Complete your Achievement 1 "John Curry"
(7b) (Seniors) Complete your Level 1 "Foundations"

More details on these below.


(1). Go to eServices and sign in for the first time. Choose "First time eServices users click here to activate your account!"

(2). After getting your email with the password they will send you, log in again with your CAPID and password. You will now be forced to complete OPSEC. This is important and must be done.

(3). Complete your Introduction to CAP Safety. You can get there by signing in to eServices, then choose "Online Safety Education" >> "Intro To CAP Safety". Go through the power point then take the test at the end. SAVE AND PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE

(4). Print your Temporary ID Card. Go here - eServices > Review/Edit My Info > Print Temporary Card.

(5). Equal Opportunity.

(6). Aircraft Ground Handling (for any cadets planning to go on an O-Ride or any members planning to work with CAP aircraft) go to:
eServices >> CAP Multimedia >> Video Courses >> then select "View Dial-up Video" Watch the video and take the test at the end. SAVE AND PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE

(7a). Next for Cadets: Go to the Squadron 45 site >> Airman Basics >> How Do I Promote >> C/Amn Achievement 1 John Curry. Print this, keep it with you and follow the directions. ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT TO DO

(7b). Next for Senior Members: Complete everything in your level one "Foundations"
